Mount Huangshan Scenic Area Reaffirmed on IUCN Green List

Recently, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) sent a letter to the Mount Huangshan Scenic Area, confirming that Huangshan has successfully passed the evaluation and has been relisted on the IUCN Green List of Protected and Conserved Areas. The certification is valid from November 28, 2025, to November 27, 2030.

This marks the third time that Huangshan has received this international honor, following its selection as one of the first global sites in 2014 and its successful reevaluation in 2020. It fully demonstrates the scenic area’s exceptional level and continuous leadership in global nature conservation governance and management.
