The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) published its World Heritage Outlook 4, assessing 271 natural and mixed World Heritage sites. Mount Huangshan Scenic Area, one of China's most famous natural landmarks, earned the highest "good" rating once more — marking its fourth consecutive recognition since IUCN started this triennial assessment in 2014.

The outlook serves as a benchmark for conservation efforts, offering insights into the global challenges facing natural heritage. Huangshan's consistently high ranking underscores its strong, scientific, and sustainable conservation practices.

Huangshan is one of just eight locations worldwide recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, a Global Geopark, and a Biosphere Reserve, exemplifying China's long-term ecological commitment.

Huangshan has established a model of green management by implementing a strict protection plan, regulating visitor capacity, and adopting innovative environmental practices like smart ecological monitoring.

Beyond conservation efforts, Huangshan encourages collaborative governance and public participation, showcasing its sustainable development model around the world. Its ongoing success serves as a bright example of harmony where both humanity and nature can flourish.
